AUSTRALIAN GAME DEVELOPER AWARDS (AGDAS)
The Australian Game Developer awards are awarded at the end of the Games Connect Asia Pacific conference (GCAP). In 2019, the award categories were:

ENERGY EFFICIENT COMMUNITIES
The Energy Efficient Communities Program is an Australian Government initiative that aims to assist businesses and community organisations in improving their energy efficiency practices and reducing their energy consumption. This program provides funding to cover installing energy efficient equipment and energy monitoring systems.
This grant is available for small businesses, business that consume large amounts of energy each year (>0.5 petabytes) and community organisations. The grant will open for small businesses in early 2020.

THE ENTREPRENEUR'S PROGRAMME
The Entrepreneur’s Programme is an initiative of the Australian government. This program aims to help existing small and medium sized businesses grow through a combination of mentorship and funding. They offer three core programs.
Accelerating Commercialisation “helps small and medium businesses, entrepreneurs and researchers to commercialise novel products, services and processes.”
Business Management “provides access to a national network of experienced business advisers and facilitators to assist you to improve your business practices, become more competitive, and take advantage of growth and collaboration opportunities in order to increase your business’s capability to trade in Australian markets and/or markets in other countries.”
Innovation Connections provides the opportunity for “experienced Innovation Facilitators [to] work with your business to identify knowledge gaps that are preventing your business growth.”

GCAP ASSIST
The Games Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) Assist program is designed to help early-career developers and companies with limited financial means attend GCAP. Historically, this support has comprised of free full conference pass and a small travel and accommodation allowance.
The last round was held in 2019.

STATISTICAL INFORMATION SERVICES
The Statistical Information Service is a service offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This service allows you to access detailed international trade data, which is valuable knowledge when considering trading internationally. A fee is often incurred to cover costs, but the price varies depending on the data being requested.
