Grants are programs that give money to individuals, organisations and/or projects. They do not need to be repaid nor do they require any other form of payment (such as equity). Grants often have very strict rules around what the money can be used on and how spending should be reported.
ADVANCE QUEENSLAND - IGNITE IDEAS FUND

The Ignite Ideas Funds is a grant of up to $200,000 available to small and medium sized businesses with a project that has reached minimum viable product stage or beyond. This grant is intended to help companies take their project into market for the first time or into new markets.
AMP’S TOMORROW FUND

AMP’s Tomorrow Fund is a grant ranging from $5000 to $100,000 for “amazing Australians doing great things in their communities.” It is open to individuals in any field including art, technology and music. The grant can be used for a range of activities, including travel, equipment, study costs, research and more.
BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL – INNOVATION GRANTS PROGRAM

The Innovation Grants Program is a grant of up to $30,000 available to Brisbane-based creative enterprises and entrepreneurs. It is intended to advance the development of an innovative product, project, collaboration or business idea that demonstrates exceptional levels of cultural, social and economic outcomes for Brisbane.
EPIC MEGAGRANTS
Grant
Epic MegaGrants is a grant ranging from $5000 to $500,000 available to projects developed in Unreal Engine 4 that have reached prototype stage or beyond. The grant is intended to promote the use of Unreal Engine 4 in a variety of industries – including, but not limited to, games, manufacturing and education. It also provides grants to people working on open-source tools for Unreal Engine 4.
